Members Needed for the BL First Aid Squad.

The Barnegat Light First Aid Squad is in need of members and you don’t need to be an EMT to join! The First Aid Squad provides training to all prospective members by Squad instructors at headquarters in BL. The training program is a three month program with classes held three nights a week, including two Sunday daytime sessions.

Squad membership is open to men and women 18 years or older and there are approximately 40 members. In 2013 the Barnegat Light First Aid Squad answered 1200 calls. Anyone interested in volunteering their time can call the non-emergency line at 609-698-7868 or visit them on the web at www.squad11.org.
