Free Bus provided by HCTA to Freeholders Aug 7 meeting

Hear ye, Hear ye!!!

( The Town Crier worked across the pond announcing a royal baby….we thought it might grab your attention here in Harvey Cedars announcing an important event!)

In order to improve safety on the Boulevard, the vast majority of our residents are in favor of the proposed lane reconfiguration: going to three lanes so that the shoulders are wide enough to accommodate walkers, runners, bikers, and baby strollers, safely. While the County Freeholders are still resisting this plan that they themselves commissioned, we have a chance to urge them to make the right decision for our community.<./p>

Please consider joining your friends and neighbors in attending the next Freeholders meeting, Wednesday August 7th. The HC Taxpayers Association has arranged for free transportation: buses will begin boarding at Sunset Park at 2:30 PM, or you may arrive at the meeting on your own. The Freeholders meeting starts at 4pm at the Ocean County Admin Building located at 101 Hooper Ave, Toms River, NJ in room 119. Parking is available in the rear of the building. For full details, and to sign-up, please visit the website: www.3inHC.com.

Bus sign up is also available at Boro Hall.

There are so few times in life when doing something so small, like going to a meeting, can do so much for so many. With enough support, we will convince the County Freeholders to make the necessary changes to the boulevard, before someone is seriously injured. Thank You.
