Harvey Cedar’s High Point Volunteer Fire Company is hosting their Fall Fundraiser next Saturday, October 6th at the firehouse from 3-11 pm. This year’s highly anticipated event will NOT be your typical Roast Beef dinner. On Saturday our fearless fire fighters and their valued volunteers will be hosting the first ever ROCKTOBERFEST featuring roast beef, Jagerschnitzel, mashed potatoes, Sauerkraut, Bockwurst, green beans, German Potato Salad, a full salad bar and desserts. A full selection of German Beers and Coors Light will be offered along with Red and White wine. Soft drinks will be available as well.
Take out dinners are available starting at 3pm with dinner seatings beginning at 4pm. Live music featuring Dave Jones and Thirdwatch will begin at 7pm and run thru 11pm. This fabulous fundraising event is brought to you by the hard work of the Harvey Cedars Volunteer Fire Company Fundraising Team at the bargin price for adults of $15.00 for dinner OR $20.00 for dinner and adult beverages. Children are $8.00.

You know you’ve got it, too much “stuff” in Harvey Cedars, extra “stuff” up home… one day we’ll call this a STUFF sale! But for now, it’s the Community Wide Yard Sale and it’s your big opportunity to share your stuff with others who want it!
Sign up now. This year’s event is on Saturday, May 26, 2012 and while you’re at it, join HCTA, take advantage of this FREE yard sale promotion we’ll be doing on your behalf & the added buyer traffic that our annual town-wide sale will generate for you. This year HCTA Members & non-Members are welcome to join the fun!
Member household: $10.
Non-member household: $30 (includes 15-month membership in HCTA through August 2013).
Per household Yard Sales fee includes:
1.) An advertisement in May 23rd issue of The Sandpaper.
2.) Your sale location listing in our “Treasure Map” (participation form & payment must be received by noon Saturday 5/19/12 to be included); list available to yard sale shoppers at 6:30AM on Saturday 5/26.
3.) A colorful “locator” flag to post near the street at your property will assist shoppers in locating your great bargains!
4.) Colorful Yard Sale directional signage to post at or near your location.
Note: Flags and signs will be available for pick-up on Saturday 5/26 from 6:30AM to 10AM at Borough Hall (76th St. & LB Blvd). Flags & signs will be picked up from your property on Saturday afternoon by an HCTA volunteer.
Participation forms received by noon on Saturday, May 19, 2012 will appear in the “Treasure Map” available to consumers. Participation forms will be accepted after 5/19; participants will receive flag and signage on the day of the event, however you may not be listed in the promotional materials.
