About the event
All Harvey Cedars Taxpayers are invited to an information session on May 30, 2026, at 10 AM at the High Point Firehouse on W. 80th Street to learn about the upcoming town-wide Tax Revaluation. A Revaluation Program seeks to spread property taxes equitably within a taxing district by ensuring that each property is assessed based on its value. Inspections on Harvey Cedars parcels will begin in mid-May. The last town-wide revaluation in HC occurred in 2004 (22 years ago).
We will provide breakfast refreshments, drawings, a presentation and handouts. Brought to you by HCTA and presented in cooperation with the Borough and Professional Property Appraisers Inc., we will answer the following questions:
