Ship Bottom Christmas Parade

The 34th annual Ship Bottom Christmas Parade may seem a few weeks away, but Dec, 7 will be here before we know it. The Christmas parade is a yearly tradition on Long Beach Island. As last year’s parade was cancelled due to the devastation and continued cleanup as a result of the October 2012 Superstorm Sandy, this year’s parade is highly anticipated.

The 2013 parade theme is “A Nautical Christmas” and marchers and float makers are encouraged to be creative in expressing that theme.

The parade will take place from 1-3 p.m. on Long Beach Boulevard in Ship Bottom from 5th to 25th streets.
